Author

Caroline grew up in London. She lived and taught in Africa for a while, where the elephants roam - and Borneo, where rainforest trees reach to the skies. She now lives in Gloucestershire with her family and an allotment (where she met Sophie) and where the ducks quack outside her front door.

Sophie Chandler

Illustrator

Sophie grew up all over the place. Her first school was in France when she was four. She trained as a designer and has lived and worked in Norway and France. She paints in oils as a hobby. Grandad's Garden is her first illustration project using watercolours.
