Grandad's Garden captures the eye with the beautiful illustrations, and the ear, with the gentle, rhythmic poetry. I love how it makes me happy and smile. as I see the life cycles happening, lifting off the pages. I was plunged into sadness as Grandad's knees were sore and the garden changed with him. Uplifted again at the garden becoming wild and free and the new life within. In this world of digital chaos, Caroline's book, illustrated by Sophie is wonderfully grounding. I read it often as one of my "de stress" tools to recover. When I read it, it is if I I have taken a deep breath and reset. Thank you.
